Cheerleading Battle & PowderPuff Championship
The PowderPuff Football game is a competition between high school cheerleading squads representing Kentucky and Tennessee. This event is held as part of our half time entertainment. The PowderPuff game has been played for three years, with results as follows:
2011 Knox Central High School (KY)
2012 Knox Central (KY) split with Sevier County High School (TN)
2013 Knox Central (KY) split with Farragut High School (TN)
2014 GAME SQUADS
Knox Central (KY) will play Fulton High School (TN)
Game will be played at Halftime

Cheer Battle at the Border
The National Guard Border Bowl would like to announce a new battle among the states, the first Cheer Battle at the Border. The event will be held at the University of the Cumberlands O. Wayne Rollins Gym. Details of the competition will be announced at a later date. The event will be co-sponsored by AB Studios and will be professionally judged. The Border Bowl Committee will provide lunch for all cheer teams. Limited space of 30 teams per state will be performing. Contact David Gambrel with the Border Bowl for more information.
